by Rainier on July 29, 2021 @ 5:25 p.m. PDT

Set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and the surrounding area, Grand Theft Auto V delivers a world of unprecedented scale and detail bursting with life, from mountaintops to the depths of the ocean.

When a young street hustler, a retired bank robber and a terrifying psychopath find themselves entangled with some of the most frightening and deranged elements of the criminal underworld, the U.S. government and the entertainment industry, they must pull off a series of dangerous heists to survive in a ruthless city in which they can trust nobody, least of all each other.

Switch between the interconnected lives of Michael, Trevor and Franklin as they embark on a series of heists across Los Santos and Blaine County in the biggest, deepest and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.

Grand Theft Auto V also comes with Grand Theft Auto Online, the dynamic and ever-evolving online universe for up to 30 players, and includes all existing gameplay upgrades and content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online.

Rise through the ranks to become a CEO of your own criminal empire by trading contraband or form a Motorcycle Club and rule the streets. Pull off daring co-operative Heists, enter adrenaline-fueled Stunt Races, compete in unique Adversary Modes or create your own content to play and share with the entire GTA community.

Introducing the Pfister Comet S2

This isn’t just a fast car. It’s a car with the kind of reputation that no amount of advertising can buy. So, when some people see a Comet, they make a wish. Others run screaming for cover, prophesying doom, destruction, and crippling medical expenses. Either way, you made an impression. The Pfister Comet S2, now available from Legendary Motorsport.

And if you became an LS Car Meet Member last week, you’ll also get the Ron Racing Livery as a free addition to your Livery options, available within 72 hours after logging in after August 2.

2X GTA$ and RP on Sprints
Got a competitive itch? You should probably get that checked out. LS Car Meet members who take part in a Sprint will walk away with double the usual GTA$ and RP, win or lose.

Prize Ride Challenge

This week, win five Sprint Challenges between now and August 4 to get your hands on the wheel of the recently released Vulcar Warrener HKR, on display atop the Slamtruck at the heart of the LS Car Meet.

This Week’s Test Ride

Visit the Test Track anytime this week to preview the as-yet unreleased Vapid Dominator ASP and kick the tires before it’s available to the public. You can also test drive the Dinka Jester RR and the all-new Pfister Comet S2 to burn some rubber on someone else’s dime.

LSCM Membership Rewards

Anyone who visits the LS Car Meet this week will be gifted the LS Customs Varsity Jacket. Car Meet Members will also receive the Fukaru Race Livery for the upcoming Vapid Dominator ASP for logging in — check back in after the vehicle hits showroom floors on August 5.

Completing the Daily Vehicle List on the Chalkboard by your Auto Shop office will land you the Street Crimes Color Gangs Tee. Upping your Rep and reaching Car Meet Membership Rank 10 between now and August 17 will earn you a bonus to the tune of GTA$250K. And speaking of bonuses: help KDJ and Sessanta complete any Contract Finale before August 5 to receive an additional lump sum of GTA$200K, as well as the White Born x Raised Tee. If completed before August 5, the awards above will be delivered within 72 hours after logging in after August 9.

Free Race and Chase Arcade Cabinet for Playing

For those who are yet to claim, play GTA Online any time this week to receive a free Race and Chase Arcade cabinet whenever you purchase the Auto Shop property.

This Week on the Podium: Truffade Z-Type

Toss the valet your keys and visit The Diamond Casino & Resort to give the Lucky Wheel a spin. Its bounties include GTA$, RP, clothing, snacks, and all kinds of mystery prizes. This week’s jackpot?
