New Studio 2.21 Is Bringing 'Little Big Adventure' Back To Life On PC And Consoles, Original Creators On Board

by Rainier on Sept. 8, 2021 @ 2:41 p.m. PDT

Originally released in 1994, Little Big Adventure is an action/adventure RPG that became an instant classic on PC, with a sequel that followed in 1997.

2.21 is a new French developer formed by various industry veterans including Little Big Adventure co-creator Didier Chanfray as well as Frédérick Raynal, creator of Alone in the Dark and co-creator of Little Big Adventure.

Other luminaries are author/scriptwriter Samantha Bailly (former Ubisoft), CEO Benoît Limare and CTO Gwenaëlle Gourevich (formerly at Air Studio).

While details are still scant, 2.21 confirmed that the next installment in the Little Big Adventure series is coming to PC and consoles.

Dear LBA fans,

For years, you have been waiting for a new Little Big Adventure. Your wait is almost over.

Thanks to the loving support of Frédérick Raynal and Didier Chanfray, we have launched a new studio to bring Twinsen and Zoe back to PC and consoles.

We would like to thank all the fans around the world, especially the Magicball network, for keeping the fire burning during all these years.

The development of the game has not started yet, so let's stop the squirming!

This is just the beginning of a new Adventure.

The team at [2.21]
