Galactic Glitch is an Action-Roguelike Space Shooter, heavily inspired by games like Dead Cells and Enter the Gungeon, that lets you master deep, physics-based combat and your ship’s shape-shifting ability to demolish multi-part enemies piece by piece in tough-but-fair, souls-inspired combat.

In Galactic Glitch, you play an AI on the run, who is fighting not just for its own freedom but also for the existence of the entire universe. Control a shape-shifting starship built by a mysterious being that (mis)directs you on your journey, and find a way out of the simulated world you find yourself in.

Explore, loot and fight your way to freedom through unknown space. Upgrade your ship with new weapons and powers, analyze your enemies and their patterns, hone your skills, and destroy anyone that stands in your way.

“We are huge Dead Cells fans, and so we wanted to make a game that paid homage to it”, says Max Dohme, lead developer at Crunchy Leaf Games. “I’m a huge space game fan, so I’ve always dreamt of combining Action-Roguelikes with that genre, to create something like Galactic Glitch”.

A Kickstarter campaign to back the further development of Galactic Glitch is planned later this year. Crunchy Leaf plans to use the funds to grow their team and spend more time creating more content like more powers, enemies, weapons, and biomes.

A playable the demo will be available during the Steam Next Fest from October 3-10.
