Homeworld 3 is a new and true standalone game in the Homeworld series, continuing the game-of-the-year winning story generations after the events of Homeworld 2. Assume control and battle through fleet combat in dazzling, fully 3D space while the award-winning story unfolds on a galactic scale.

Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing announced that Homeworld 3 is releasing worldwide on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on March 8, 2024.

Players can now pre-order Homeworld 3 starting today to experience the best-in-class 3D strategy game. Additionally, pre-ordering the Fleet Command Edition or Collector’s Edition provides the ability to start playing the game early on March 5, 2024. 

A behind-the-scenes documentary looking at the making of Homeworld 3 will be officially release this December 2023, but here is a sneak peek at a new trailer for the documentary.

Homeworld 3 is now available to pre-order in the following editions: Standard, Deluxe, Fleet Command and Collector’s. Anyone who pre-orders Homeworld 3 will unlock the Kushan Carrier War Games Skin. Additionally, players who pre-order the Fleet Command Edition or Collector’s Edition of Homeworld 3 can experience the full game 72 hours ahead of the global launch. The Homeworld 3 Deluxe Edition, Fleet Command Edition and Collector’s Edition all include the Year One Pass featuring new downloadable content that will be released throughout the year, crafted for the cooperative War Games roguelike mode. This new content will feature playable factions for the War Games mode.
