Based on the award-winning board game of the same name, Wingspan is an exciting adventure where up to 5 players compete to build up their nature preserves in a limited number of turns.

You are bird enthusiasts—researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors—seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your network of natural wildlife preserves, a shelter for many bird species. Each bird you play can build a chain of powerful combinations in one of your three habitats – forest, wetland, and grassland. Every habitat focuses on a key aspect of growing your reserves.

Discover new bird species and attract them by offering their favorite food. But keep in mind their natural habitat – animals won't settle in conditions they aren't adapted to. Have them lay eggs so you’ll be able to play new birds and gain more points. Roll the dice to gather food and draw cards to expand your reserve. Remember – each of the 170 unique birds has powers that echo real life: your hawks will hunt, your pelicans will fish, and your geese will form a flock.

Learn a fact or two about your feathered friends’ habits, but most importantly, sit back and relax while you enjoy this soothing gameplay experience. 

Developer Monster Couch announced that the digital version of Wingspan will be available on PS5 and PS4 on October 11, 2024.

What’s cool is that when Wingspan launches on October 11, it’s not just the base game that will be available but also the entire flock of expansions and decorative content to the PlayStation consoles!

These include two big expansions released up to this point – European and Oceania – with all kinds of new birds from the respective continents and new gameplay elements. In addition to that, two decorative packs are coming, with new backgrounds and avatars you can use to customize your in-game profile.

Last, but not least – Wingspan will also launch physically simultaneously, thanks to the fantastic team over at Merge Games.
