Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the next installment in the action/adventure series chronicling the journey of Jedi Cal Kestis and will expand upon the stories, worlds, characters, and combat first experienced in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is being built for the current generation of gaming hardware to create a deeper and more expansive Star Wars experience for players worldwide.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, as Cal continues to grow as a Jedi and evade the Empire’s constant pursuit. With trusty companion BD-1 by his side, he joins forces with new and old allies to aid him on his quest, including the mercenary Bode Akuna (Noshir Dalal) and former crew member Cere Junda (Debra Wilson). With new traversal options such as an ascension cable to reach new heights and the ability to tame and ride creatures, Cal has many ways to navigate the perils he will face as he explores both familiar and new worlds across the galaxy.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor also introduces numerous combat stances to enhance gameplay, including Dual Lightsabers for lightning fast gameplay and a new Crossguard stance, that brings a measured, but hard-hitting combat option to help Cal defeat threats standing in his way – from Stormtroopers and Imperial Sentry Droids to powerful beings shrouded in mystery.
While Respawn Entertainment previously stated that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor would not be coming to PS4 and Xbox One, it seems that decision has now been reversed.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will launch on PS 4 and Xbox One consoles on September 17, 2024.
Pre-order Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on these platforms before September 17 to receive free cosmetic items including the Hermit Cosmetic (inspired by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi™), Hermit Lightsaber Set, and Combustion Blaster Set.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will sell for the suggested retail price of $49.99 and feature a variety of optimizations aimed at maximizing the hardware capabilities of the consoles.
Additionally, the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will receive an update in the coming weeks. This patch will bring enhancements to the game’s technical performance, controls and more, plus a variety of quality-of-life improvements.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available for Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC (Steam), coming to PS4 and Xbox One at a later time.
