In NBA 2K26, bragging rights are on the line in every mode.

With all-new ProPLAY features, players on Gen 9 will experience the immersive technology like never before, as they feel connected to every dribble and crossover with revamped size-ups, and experience fast-paced dynamic movement.

Fans can build a transcendent MyPLAYER as they strive to reach the pinnacle of NBA stardom in a reimagined MyCAREER journey and team up with friends to battle rival squads in a fresh and more optimized City.

MyTEAM in NBA 2K26 will put past and present legends to the test in new single-player and multiplayer modes while players can lead a franchise as a General Manager in MyNBA, with 30 unique storylines to win a championship. More details on NBA 2K26 will be shared in the coming weeks.

2K announced that NBA 2K26 launches this Friday, October 17, bringing with it a new wave of rewards, content, and challenges across MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The W.  

As the 2025–2026 NBA season tips off, the race for the Larry O’Brien Trophy is officially underway. Reflecting that same competitive spirit, Season 2 of NBA 2K26 challenges players to sharpen their skills, climb the ranks, and dominate the court all season long, following in the footsteps of NBA 2K26 cover stars Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Angel Reese, and Carmelo Anthony.

The latest updates and rewards include:

• MyCAREER: In MyCAREER, players can step under the bright lights of an NBA arena and make their mark. This Season offers rewards including the level 18 Low Rider Car, Denver Nuggets Mascot ‘Rocky’ at level 19, Max +2 Badge Perk at level 30 and 35, Gilgeous-Alexander Backwards Jersey at level 37, and more. In celebration of NBA tip-off, players can also participate in the Wear & Earn event on Monday, October 20, earning a 2XREP bonus by wearing their favorite NBA jersey around The City. 
• The Park: The Park is moving to new heights this season, relocating from its grounded setting to the stunning City Heights, a dynamic rooftop court. Players can squad up with friends and rise above the competition in this elevated new venue designed for high-flying dunks. 
• MyTEAM: Season 2 expands MyTEAM with more NBA and WNBA cards to collect and compete with. This season features new rewards, including an 85 OVR Shaedon Sharpe evo card, an Amethyst Goran Dragić, a Diamond Joe Johnson, a Pink Diamond Courtney Vandersloot, and players who reach level 40 will attain a Pink Diamond Chris Bosh (Miami Heat). Players can also earn Game Changer cards, MTP, and a 90+ OVR premium pack as they climb through the Season Rewards track.
• The W Online*: Following another thrilling WNBA season, The W Online continues to offer weekly and seasonal rewards for players to chase. Weekly rewards include spooky items like a Witches Hat and Halloween Sleeves, while new season rewards feature clothing bundles, VC, WNBA and MyTEAM Player Cards, and more. 
• Season 2 Pro Pass & Hall of Fame Pass**: Level up your rewards with the Season 2 Pro Pass and Hall of Fame Pass that features 40 additional levels of unlockable NBA 2K26rewards, featuring both automatic and premium content. Celebrate the Halloween season with eerie new cosmetics and boost your progression with VC, Skill Boosts, and MyTEAM rewards. Automatic rewards include Court Vision Glowing Eyes, Mind Game Glow Mask, Diamond J.R. Smith, and the Season 2 Pro Pass Pack. Premium rewards include a Digital Charge Cape, Glow Tatted Body Mod, Platinum Grillz, and more. 
• Greatest Hits Soundtrack: Season 2 debuts the Greatest Hits soundtrack collection, celebrating iconic tracks from the NBA 2K franchise’s rich history. Handpicked by the 2K music team, this nostalgic yet high-energy playlist delivers the best sounds to ball to, blending legendary hits with the energy that gets players ready to take on the competition.

A new season of NBA basketball is finally here, and all 30 teams are ready to embark on their quest to lift the Larry O’Brien trophy.

Coming into this season, NBA 2K26 cover star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is prepared to defend his status as the reigning MVP and NBA Finals champion. But the question is, are you capable of dethroning him?

But for those that have prioritized MyTEAM and MyNBA, now is the perfect time to dive into MyCAREER with NBA tip-off quickly approaching. Experience what it’s like to take center court on opening night and make a name for yourself under the bright lights of an NBA arena. With every performance and Key Game, you’ll earn XP that goes toward your Seasonal rewards track and VC to spend on improving your skills. Climb from Level 1 to Level 40 and collect cosmetics, Badge Perks, MyCOURT Murals, and more during Season 2.

Hoop at City Heights

The Park in NBA 2K26 is changing locations this Season, from the grounded park environment to the towering overlook of City Heights, where you can elevate above defenders for scenic poster dunks. Squad up with friends at this all-new location and experience heightened competition at an impressive venue.

NBA Tip-Off 2XREP

In honor of NBA tip-off, we’re giving you the chance to celebrate the return of your favorite players and teams during the Wear & Earn event. On Wednesday, October 22, show off your drip by wearing your favorite NBA-themed jersey around The City and earn a 2XREP bonus! One Season into NBA 2K26 and the community has wasted no time combining NBA and WNBA players for some unique lineups; whether it’s clips or screenshots, we love what we’re seeing in the early going. For Season 2, we’re rolling out even more NBA and WNBA cards for you to collect and insert into your lineups. From high-flying forwards and floor-extending big men, to crafty guards and savvy coaches, collect them all and maximize their talent with complementary players.

Level 1 Evolution Shaedon Sharpe

The Portland Trail Blazers athletic forward broke out last season with 18.5 points per game and looks poised to make another leap in 2025-2026. Start your MyTEAM rewards track with the Level 1 Evolution Shaedon Sharpe evo card and give your team a lift offensively. Complete challenges to increase Sharpe’s rating from an 85 OVR to an 89 OVR.

Level 10 Amethyst Goran Dragić

A former All-Star and Most Improved Player of the Year, Goran Dragić played with tenacity as a strong slasher and down-hill finisher. The 15-year veteran also thrived in the pick-and-roll, with the ability to hurt defenses from behind the arc or in the paint. Coupled with a rangy power forward, Dragić can shred even the best MyTEAM lineups.

Level 20 Amethyst Udonis Haslem

The longest tenured player in Miami Heat history, Udonis Haslem earned a wealth of experience and displayed a high basketball IQ during his 20 seasons in the league. In his prime, the 6’8”, 235-pound forward was a menace on defense and on the glass. Haslem played with force and stayed rooted against his assignments in the post.

Level 28 Diamond Coach Erik Spoelstra

Starting as a video coordinator with the Miami Heat, Erik Spoelstra climbed the ranks and became the team’s head coach in 2009. In his 17 seasons at the helm, Coach Spo has led the franchise to two NBA Finals championships, and most recently led the team to the NBA Finals in 2023. Use the Level 28 Diamond Coach Erik Spoelstra card to deploy a tactical strategy and a championship mindset.

Level 30 Diamond Joe Johnson

Joe Johnson, aka Iso Joe, was a smooth operator and certified bucket for almost two decades. The weight of the moment didn’t matter, Joe stayed cool and delivered in the clutch time and time again. Suit up with Level 30 Diamond Joe Johnson and use his effortless handles to create separation and drain silky shots.

Level 35 Pink Diamond Courtney Vandersloot

Chicago Sky legend and four-time WNBA All-Star Courtney Vandersloot is the epitome of a floor general. Throughout her career, Vandersloot has drawn comparisons to former NBA legend Steve Nash due to her elite court vision and pinpoint passing. Let Level 35 Pink Diamond Courtney Vandersloot run the point for your MyTEAM squad and set your teammates up for success.

Level 40 Pink Diamond Chris Bosh (Miami Heat)

Eleven consecutive All-Star selections, two NBA championships, and more than 17,000 career points, Chris Bosh retired as one of the most prolific power forwards in the modern era. Bosh possessed a rare combination of speed, explosiveness, and finesse for a power forward. His two-way versatility made him a threat at both ends of the floor and a matchup nightmare on a loaded “Heatles” team. Stretch the floor with Level 40 Pink Diamond Chris Bosh and lead your team to victory.
