Vellum is preparing to close the book on Early Access as it launches v 1.0 on May 2, 2025. With the full release, the struggle between Scribes and Torn enters its most dangerous chapter yet—players must face the Torn Lords within their own realms. These corrupted realms bring brutal bosses, combat encounters, and confrontations directly with the Torn Lords for the fate of the Illuminated Library. 

At launch, players will take on two full Raids—The Forgery and The Grey Area. Each Raid features Normal and Hard modes, four major encounters, and two vignette events, with run times targeting 30–45 minutes. The Forgery, a scorched, lava-filled foundry overrun by constructs, showcases the dazzlingly awful machinations of improperly used pages and ink. The Grey Area is a forested and decaying keep, where players must brave haunted overgrowth and twisted creatures shaped by the Raving Lord’s distorted view of beauty

The Vellum 1.0 update also introduces a variety of raid-related rewards, including new Pages of Power and Reading Nook customizations, plus a brand-new way to personalize your Scribe with your Scribe with Curiosities - wings, cloaks, and more! As players face the escalating terrors of the Torn Realms, the Library’s Codex will update with helpful Encounter Info, and every Raid completion will permanently stamp each Page used in a victorious build.
