Built in Unreal Engine 5, the core of BeastLink is Grove Street’s proprietary SuperDestruction system that pushes environmental wreckage to a new level. This fully networked, physics based system lets every player reshape the map as both human or Kaiju. With over 250,000 destructible objects and tens of millions of individual pieces, players can strategically reshape entire city blocks, turning urban environments into tactical rubble.
BeastLink drops players into massive, urban environments under siege by a variety of Kaiju. Players will navigate collapsing cityscapes on foot or choose from a variety of vehicles. They battle both human forces and roaming monsters to gather resources, which fuel an experimental procedure to Link with sleeping Kaiju. Once the BeastLink is established, the perspective shifts from tactical survival to city-shaking power as players tear through buildings and engage in massive, real-time monster brawls.
Each Kaiju offers a distinct playstyle, including the four launch creatures: Horned Lizard, Bull Shark, Vampire Bat, and Mandrill. Whether you prefer brute force, aerial attacks, or speed-based combat, every match changes how you approach both combat and movement across the city.
Grove Street Games announced that its first new IP in over a decade, BeastLink, is coming to Steam Early Access on August 18, 2026 at $19.99.
The date is revealed in a new action-packed trailer that gives a glimpse of what players can expect at Early Access launch.
“The current version contains 3 maps, 4 beasts and multiplayer game modes (Convergence & Battle Arena) alongside dozens of weapons and vehicles to utilize. You can play scenarios on our dedicated online servers, progress your characters and kaiju, and wreak havoc. Offline modes are available, and a tutorial & the first few single player missions are included to give you a taste of the story. The Early Access version will improve significantly and often. We will be dropping frequent updates, with large content drops as each new map, beast, or scenario type is ready. ”
“For 1.0 we plan to have even more content - 12 maps based on three real world cities, 8 beasts in total, 10 full story missions with online co-op, and a variety of additional game modes. And that’s just the beginning. We have a full roadmap that includes more beasts, vehicles, and playable content. ”
