NEOWIZ is reviving a beloved RPG game that pioneered the genre as the company today announced an agreement with renowned Japanese game developer Nihon Falcom, securing the rights to develop and publish classic RPG The Legend of Heroes III: The White Witch for PC and console.
“The White Witch has been cherished by RPG fans worldwide for over 30 years,” said a NEOWIZ representative. “We want to bring a polished experience that recaptures the emotional experience of the original game, while inviting new and old players to immerse themselves in an updated adaptation. With this agreement, we are looking forward to building a strong partnership with Nihon Falcom.”
Leveraging development and publishing experience with console games, NEOWIZ plans to focus on faithfully recreating the original’s authentic narrative and atmosphere for fans of the original and introducing the game to a whole new generation of players.
