Vivendi has released a demo, now available on Xbox Live, but only for Gold members, giving you the chance to check out an early level Eragon has not yet mastered his dragon rider magic and must rely on his skills with the sword and bow to escape the forces of Durza and Galbatorix.

Electronic Software Association (ESA) top executive, and most recently E3 lead organizer, Mary Dolaher, has resigned and taken up a new position at IDG World Expo, organizer of numerous tradeshows such as MaxWorld and various others around the world. Not skipping a beat, IDG today announced it will be organizing Game Pro Expo in Los Angeles' Staples Center, the former E3 location, October 18-20, 2007. The new show will will have trade, consumer, and game competition components, comparable to the Tokyo Game Show/Liepzig Convention formulas.
