Blizzard has released the European version of the new update for its MMORPG World of Warcraft. This v1.11 patch adds the new high-level Naxxramas dungeon, new armor, and the usual massive slew of bug and crash fixes, as well as balance tweaks.

Panzer Command: Operation Winter Storm is turn-based (each turn consists of two 40 second phases, the first for orders, the second for reactions and targeting) and has a great PBEM system for head to head play. There is a German and a Soviet campaign and all the campaign battles can be played as set battles as well.

Activision today announced that it has opened a publishing office in Seoul Korea through the acquisition of CSR Entertainment's software distribution operations. Already rumored several months ago, EA today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Virginia-based Mythic Entertainment, known for Dark Age of Camelot and currently working on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Upon completion of the acquisition, Mythic Entertainment will become EA Mythic, a wholly-owned studio dedicated to developing MMORPGs.

Reuters, IBM has developed a transistor that is capable of reaching 500 gigahertz, which is 100 times faster than the highest-end PC processors being sold today.
