The latest issue of PCGamer has the first details on the yet un-announced Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremecy addon. Mad Doc Software's first addon for its 3D RTS is scheduled for release in spring 2006 and will feature 15 new civilizations, 15 missions spread over 3 campaigns, the ability to make your own civilization with the new civilization editor, and plenty of other new additions. Now that the cat is out of the bag, we can expect an official announcement soon.

His new position at Flagship Studios is presumably to work on HellGate London (thanks RPGDot).

'Rayman 4' Coming In 2006

At a fall Gaming Session press event in France, Ubisoft presented its lineup of upcoming titles. The usual suspects were all present, such as Ghost Recon 3, Prince of Persia, King Kong, and so forth, but the real interesting part was when producer Michel Ancel announced that the new installment in the Rayman franchise is making a comeback, which we already hinted at several months ago. While the teaser video did not reveal much information, it showed Rayman being called back from some tropical/vacation resort. No specific were given, but it is expected end of 2006, and most likely on current and next-gen consoles.

Blizzard has released yet another new Warcraft III map, this time called "Brutal Winter"... Map info: "The unforgiving winter is upon us... a time when resources are scarce and flanks exposed. Call forth the warriors, for there could not be a better time to attack than now. " This is a small map size and the suggested no. of players is 1v1, or 2v2. EA announced today that BF2:MC went gold and is expected in stores October 25. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat will drop players into the heat of battle on the high tech frontlines, entering a new modern era of combat with more firepower and new expansive environments.
