NovaLogic today has announced that its PS2/Xbox tactical shooter Delta Force: Black Hawk Down has gone gold. Rated "T" for teen by the ESRB, the game features an expansive single player campaign and breaks new ground in the multiplayer arena by allowing up to 50 players to battle over Xbox Live, or up to 32 players on PS2 via GameSpy.

Japanese magazine Nikkei Electronics quotes an interview with SCE head honcho Ken Kutaragi that its next-gen PS3 console will no longer feature the previously announced three Gigabit Ethernet ports, allowing it to act as a home network router.
