Jester Interactive Publishing announced today that Duke Marketing is appointed sole UK & Ireland distributors for its PS2 title TT Superbikes. The game has been developed by Jester over 3 years with input from Duke, the Isle of Man Department of Tourism & Leisure, and several leading ‘road racers’ to give an unprecedented level of realism to the entire 37.73 mile TT course. Game modes include ‘Mad Sunday’, TT races, tutorials and over 40 different bike selections.

Telltale Inc, currently working on comic book adaptation Bone, announced the worldwide launch of its character based poker game Telltale Texas Hold’Em!, in which the player squares off against four wacky characters, all with their own individual playing styles. The engaging PC title is unique among video poker games, focusing on the characters more than the cards.

CDV today announced that Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars has gone gold and is scheduled to ship in North America on April 26. Due to continuous below-average sales, French publisher Big Ben has decided to close down its UK office. Open a little over five years, Bigben Interactive UK Ltd never really took off like its parent company had envisioned. The recent Dance:UK eXtra Trax sales were satisfactory, but its fate was already sealed, as it barely improved the weak overall sales figure during last year's Christmas period. One of the reasons given was the lack of console units available on the market during the last holiday season, which resulted in a below-average sale of game units.

Hellboy movie director Guillermo Del Toro has revealed that he has been approached to work with Mike Mignola, author of the original comic book, as a consultant for a video game based on the Hellboy movie. "A deal has been finalized with Konami for a Hellboy video game based on the movie version of the characters and world. Expect new monsters, new villians (and the return of one of our favorite ones) and a new storyline" (

Purchase one of several breeds available at the beginning of the game, then start spending time with your pup. Throw flying discs and balls to improve the pup's agility, bathe it when it gets dirty, and repeat voice commands to train the dog to do tricks.
