Cunyngas is the third game in the STG genre made by Akatora. A vertical scrolling shooter enhanced with the thrills of modern 3D graphics. The game is continuing the line with the same level of intensive action and wonderfully modeled 3D graphics to support the strictly two dimensional gameplay as its predecessors. Atari Inc. Friday said it had sold more than 1 million copies of "Enter the Matrix" one week after the computer and video game hit shelves in the United States and Europe. The game was released May 15, the same day as the movie it is tied to, "The Matrix Reloaded." The game includes additional footage and is one of the most expensive ever made.

Electronic Arts today officially announced plans to publish the hugely successful game Dead to Rights on the PS2 and GameCube. Both versions will be released next August in all PAL territories. Dead To Rights is an intense, hard-hitting, action-thriller game in which police officer, Jack Slate, discovers and unravels a conspiracy that threatens not only himself, but the city he’s sworn to protect, Grant City. Jack Slate’s adventure has him progressing through various game chapters by taking out hostile threats, solving challenging puzzles and mini-games, and defeating sinister bosses. Cenega has delayed the PC version (Xbox release TBA) of Shade: Wrath of Angels and will now be releasing it in 2004. With a very successful E3 show, where Cenega showed an early playable pre-alpha code of Shade: Wrath of Angles, almost all the visitors were blown away with the ability of the graphics engine made for this title. It has become necessary to delay the game for some months in order to ensure the other elements of the game live up to a great level of detail, as well as gamers' high expectations for this title.

'Breed' is the first project to be developed utilizing the 'Mercury' engine. Breed is an action based game set both in Earth orbit and on its surface. From the orbiting USC Darwin the player launches attacks against the Breed, the aggressive biomechanical race infesting Earth. Konami has released a new patch for Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance which enables support for ATI Radeon videocards, and also takes care of a language selection issue for the European version.
