PC Review - 'Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds'

Just as in the "Magic" card game, in "Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds" players will choose a duelist and up to two of "Magic's" five colors -- red, green, white, blue, and black -- to attempt to reduce their opponent's life to zero. Of course, getting an opponent to zero will not be easy; players will have to utilize lightning reflexes, strategic brilliance and, on occasion, raw power to overcome an enemy.

In Culdcept, each player has a customizable deck of 50 cards that come from a total in-game deck of 480. Up to four players (human or computer-driven) maneuver around the map, taking control of unclaimed land in an effort to build their power. Players defend their land by placing creatures from their card hand on the individual terrains. Battles ensue when opposing players land on occupied space and don't wish to pay the "toll." GBA Review - 'Gameboy Advance SP'

And now for something completely different. Over here at WorthPlaying we usually focus our efforts to review and preview the multitude of PC and console games that come out every week, but exceptions can be made here and there for certain products. One such product is Nintendo’s Gameboy Advance SP, which at first glance seems too similar to the original Gameboy Advance to garner a purchase. However, upon closer inspection the GBA SP wildly surpasses the original version, with a slew of features that the original GBA simply doesn’t have.
