Ascaron has released a new patch its latest iteration in the ANSTOSS soccer management franchise. This second patch requires v1.01 to be installed and fixes various bugs, and game crashes. Old save games will no longer work after applying this patch.

The Chronicles of Spellborn is an MMORPG set in the Enclave of the Five Sacrifices. Developed by Dutch studio Khaeon Games, previously known for Alpha Black Zero, Spellborn uses the Unreal 2.5 Engine.

JoWood and European publisher Deepsilver revealed that its upcoming action/rpg Gothic 3 will not be using the StarForce protection, but instead they opted to go with SecuRom after thousands of fans, and even one of the Piranha Bytes developers, signed a petition to pressure both parties to not include the beleaguered Russian protection scheme.
