When Activision signed its license agreement with Marvel, it included rights for Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four and Iron Man through 2009. While the first three franchises all received games, Iron Man was the only one holding out, until the recent announcement of the movie. News has been rather quiet on that front, and according to Gamespot, the reason is because Activision simply no longer holds the rights to it, effectively cancelling any game they had in development.

Call of Duty 3 delivers the intensity of being closer than ever to the fury of combat during the battle for the Liberation of Paris, the most harrowing campaign of WWII, known as The Normandy Breakout. Yesterday we reported that Activision's CoD3 product page received an update with, oddly enough, the PS3 platform missing, but that seems to have been adjusted as it is listed again.

Battlefront.com has signed a publishing agreement with 1C for its WW2 RTS Theatre of War, previously known as WWII RTS and Battlefield Command! Theatre of War depicts stunningly authentic battles of World War II between 1939-1945. Command hundreds of different unit types in 5 historically accurate campaigns (US, UK, Soviet, German, French and Polish)

Call of Juarez is situated in 19th-century Wild West America and requires a combination of both intelligent stealth and pure shooting. Shortly after the German version, Ubisoft has now released the English demo, allowing you to try out 2 missions, one for both characters, Ray or Billy.

Today, Ubisoft and Techland announce that Call of Juarez will be coming to a next generation console in 2007, and that the PC version in the US will be held to coincide with the launch of the console version, while the release dates in Europe remain unchanged. Improvements to the US PC version are expected, based on optimization for Windows Vista. No further details are available at this time.
