Peter Jackson Signs On As 'Halo' Movie Producer

Universal Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox announced today that triple-Academy Award winners Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh will serve as the executive producers of Halo, the upcoming feature film based on Microsoft’s video game from Bungie Studios.

Gun will be a GTA-style game, set in the West in the 1880s, in cities such as Dodge City and New Mexico's Las Vegas. The murderous 'Dodge City Gang' has been on a rampage and you seek revenge, hunting them down between Indians and Mexican pistoleros. Main mode of transportation is any horse you can find or steal, and of course, Gun will include high speed "horse" pursuits.

EA, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics announced today that Superman Returns: The Videogame is scheduled for a summer 2006 release in conjunction with the Warner Bros. Pictures' film on June 30, 2006. The game, which features storylines from both the movie and more than 60 years of comic book content, is being developed by EA-Tiburon.

BFME 2 takes part in the North where a battle is raging between Sauron's forces vs. elves and dwarves. It will be possible to create/customize your own hero, apart from known figures such as Arwin, and become more powerful as you progress in the game. While BFME was all land based, the sequel will also take the action on the sea, naval battles included, courtesy of an updated engine.

AFSL Games announced today that Battle Carry is complete and will be released this coming Friday, October 7th, and will be available for download for $19.95. Battle Carry is an action oriented deathmatch game featuring high speed tanks and powerful secondary weapons. The release will feature eight maps, playable in deathmatch, team deathmatch, and objective match. It will have nine secondary weapons, and four unique tanks to use.
