Cenega has just announced that their horror adventure title Nefandus has had a change of name. The game is now called Shade: Wrath of Angels. This change of name has been forced due to copyright reasons.

Octagon Entertainment has signed a representation agreement with Synaptic Soup to find worldwide publishing for the arcade-style racing game Crazy Car Championship, currently in development for two next-gen consoles.

Today it was decided that the long awaited Swedish gaming exhibition "Gamex" is delayed to next year, but the conference and trade event "NIME:02" will continue as planned in October. The future for NIME looks bright, and over 40 people from the best game developers, publishers and mobile companies are already confirmed to speak in the conference. After phenomenal success on the PC, eJay has branched out onto PS2 with its latest software eJay Clubworld. The Stuttgart-based developers have carried out extensive research into the technical capabilities of the PS2 and are convinced it is the ideal console platform on which to showcase eJay music software first. Riding Spirits is an exhilarating, fast paced motorcycle racing game currently being developed by Japanese publisher and development studio Spike. An experienced multi-platform developer, Spike are best known for the beat 'em up hit, Fire Pro Wrestling, which BAM! launched on the Game Boy Advance last summer. Activision just send us a note that Raven Software is in the process of cooking up an update patch for their recently released first-person shooter, "Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix". The patch will not only fix issues in the game, but also have 4 new maps : Hong Kong Streets, The Barn, Kamchatka Factory, Airport Warehouse. Read more to see some screens from each map.
