Halloween night… a group of children enter a strangely quiet deserted run-down house to look for sweets. Ann, a clever young girl dressed up as a witch, and Greg, a solid young boy dressed up as a devil, are squabbling and lagging behind the others. Suddenly, as they turn a corner, they discover that all their friends have been turned to statues! Lying inanimate on the ground along the corridor, they are frightening and grotesque. Like its predecessor, Deus Ex 2 allows players to participate in the telling of a powerful story, rich in mystery, lies and intrigue. In addition to a host of new conspiratorial friends and foes, players can expect encounters with a variety of characters from the original Deus Ex game. And, once again, players visit a variety of real world locations made more exotic by the passage of time. V-Rally 3 for Game Boy Advance utilizes a brand new 3D engine, allowing the display of several hundred polygons in 256 colors. In addition, the engine uses more than a hundred textures and runs at 20 images per second for fluid animations. V-Rally 3 includes two multiplayer modes for ultimate two-player Game Boy Advance fun. Ubi Soft Ships 'The Sum of All Fears'

Ubi Soft's PC game based on Tom Clancy's novel and the upcoming Paramount Pictures' release, The Sum of All Fears, has shipped to U.S. retail stores and will be on store shelves when the movie opens this Friday, May 31, for U.S. audiences. Featuring a compelling storyline, adrenaline-pumping gameplay and scalable difficulty, The Sum of All Fears will introduce the tactical-action genre to casual gamers as they travel through the game's parallel storyline. In the game, players are immersed in a high-stakes adventure as members of an FBI elite hostage rescue team reassigned to track down the conspirators of a major plot against the United States.

Ubisoft To Recruit New Beta Testers For 'Shadowbane'

Ubi.com and Ubi Soft, the publishers of Shadowbane, are now accepting additional applications to be a beta tester of Shadowbane, the fantasy-based, massively multiplayer online (MMO) game slated for launch later this year. 'Graphic State' Reveals Cuttin Edge Technology For GBA - Screens

Building on the technology behind previous titles such as Dark Arena and STAR X, Graphic State has created a new set of 3D game routines which represent a major advance for handheld gaming. Game Boy Advance games can now far more accurately represent their console/PC counterparts - with detailed 3D environments and hundreds of on-screen sprites. Handheld game players can now experience 3D gameplay similar to games previously seen on the original PlayStation. Included are screens from 3 upcoming titles.
