Infogrames has today announced that the Atari-branded Unreal Tournament 2003 will now be released on PC-CD ROM across Europe in July 2002. The successful release of Unreal Tournament 2003 is extremely important to Infogrames. The decision has therefore been made that Unreal Tournament 2003 will be released in July 2002 so that the title is of the highest standard when released. Infogrames, EPIC and Digital Extremes are fully aware of the anticipation for this product from the huge Unreal fan base and want to produce something that will blow fans and newcomers away. The Unreal brand is an enormous license and all relevant teams want to adhere to the quality that has been achieved in the past.

Simon & Schuster Interactive announced today that it will publish “Soldiers of Anarchy” for the PC (Available: October 2002). SOLDIERS OF ANARCHY (S.O.A.) combines elements of Real Time Strategy (RTS) and squad-based tactical games to create a uniquely customizable single and multiplayer experience. TDK Mediactive, Inc. today announced a worldwide, multi-year exclusive licensing agreement with Mattel, Inc.to publish software based on Masters of the Universe. The agreement grants TDK Mediactive exclusive rights to publish interactive Masters of the Universe games for console systems manufactured by Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft, as well as PC.
