3DO Europe today announced the release of Army Men RTS, bringing the popular real time strategy genre to the Army Men brand for PC and PS2 in March 2002. Developed by Pandemic Studios, widely-acclaimed for titles such as Dark Reign 2 and Battlezone II, Army Men: RTS is a deep and strategic adventure without the intimidation of other RTS games.

You may not be able to plant a Donkey Kong Daffodil or a Mario Marigold, but soon you can grow a flower named after a brand new Nintendo franchise right in your own backyard.

Scheduled for release in early 2002, the game is currently in development for PlayStation 2, PC and other next generation platforms at independent game studio Wide Games. Gameplay continues to evolve with strong adventure gameplay mechanics making for a tense and suspenseful playing experience.
