Earlier this week BigWorld finalized negotiations with Game Arts, making them the latest developer to sign up for the BigWorld Technology suite in their upcoming MMO ‘Hokuto-no-ken ONLINE’.

In UT3 you assume the role of a futuristic warrior engaged in contests of intense shooting battles against skilled opponents, A.I. or human, fought with the most powerful sci-fi weapons and vehicles. In order to test the game on a variety of hardware configurations, Epic's Mark Rein revealed that a Beta Demo will be released in the next week or two, allowing instant action play against bots as well as online multiplayer.

Atari announced that its majority stockholder, California U.S. Holdings, Inc., removed James Ackerly, Ronald C. Bernard, Michael G. Corrigan, Denis Guyennot and Ann E. Kronen from the Board of Directors of Atari via written stockholder consent, effective Oct. 5, 2007.
