'BioShock' (X360/PC) Demo Confirmed for Monday

BioShock will forever change the expectations for the FPS going beyond run and gun corridors, monster-closet AIs and static worlds, creating a living, unique and unpredictable FPS experience. Already released on Xbox Live, the PC version of the 1.84Gb demo is confirmed for Monday 7pm EST/4pm PST, and of course we will have it on our fileserver network.

Microsoft Confirms Live Service on XP

Already revealed by SEGA's Universe at War Live compatibility on Vista/XP, Microsoft's official Gamerscore blog confirms it is indeed working on bringing the Games for Windows Live service to XP. The development team first wanted to get the service working on Microsoft's newest OS to support Halo 2 and Shadowrun, but now that both titles are out, work on finalizing GfWL on XP has commenced. Gears of War, which is Vista/XP compatible, will support the Live service on both platforms.

'Dragon Quest IV' (NDS) - 8 New Screens

While Level 5 are still working on bringing the newest Dragon Quest IX title the the NDS, several of its prequels, DQ IV, V and VI to be precise, are also getting converted to the NDS, with full 3D graphics. Scheduled for release this winter in Japan, no word whether Square Enix will be bringing it to Europe and/or North America.

Mexican Raids Net 15,000 Counterfeit Nintendo Products

Mexican authorities conducted raids against 12 alleged distributors of counterfeit Nintendo products in a major “fayuca” (contraband) market in Guadalajara. Authorities seized 15,000 pirated Nintendo products, including 4,500 illegal Wii game discs.
