Clive Barker's Jericho is a squad-based horror FPS devised by the master mythmaker, novelist and filmmaker Clive Barker. The Jericho Team is a seven-man strike force that protects government interests from paranormal threats. Next up in the series is Corp. Simone Cole, who is a reality hacker.

ND Games announces 9th Company: Roots of Terror, a new action-oriented RTS developed by Lesta Studios, creators of Pacific Storm, using their brand new proprietary engine.

Savage 2: A Tortured Soul mixes RTS with FPS, allowing players to to opt for either the fast-paced action of a shooter game, or the more tactical planning of a real-time strategy game, with squad-based features and enhanced RPG elements enabling players to build their character level and abilities throughout the game.

The Orange Box will be available via Steam and at retail outlets beginning next Wednesday, Oct. 10th. In preparation for launch, Valve has begun pre-loading both Portal and Half-Life 2: Ep. Two to those who have pre-purchased The Orange Box. The pre-purchase campaign, available via Steam and at participating retailers, grants gamers access to the Team Fortress 2 beta and a 10% discount off the regular price of $49.95.
