MMO Calendar is an annual, non-profit fund-raiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. With the help of some MMO developers, they have put together a calendar featuring original artwork from some favorite MMOs.

Rock Band allows you to perform famous rock music with your friends as a virtual band using drum, bass/lead guitar and microphone peripherals, in addition to offering online connectivity. Harmonix will release song packs ($5.49) and individual songs ($0.99 - $2.99), but there's no price on full albums yet. At launch, packs for The Police, Metallica and Queens of the Stone Age will be available as well as single songs from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Foreigner and T-Rex.

Vivendi has released its financial results for the first nine months of the year, and reported, to no one's surprise, an increase of 7% compared to last year (10.9% in the last quarter). Vivendi Games' revenues in particular are up 49% compared to last year, racking up a rough $1 billion, primarily driven, like the past year or two, by World of Warcraft, which has recently launched in China and now counts over 9 million subscribers.

Earlier this year, Slovanian developer Zootfly leaked images and early clips of what looked to be a new game in the Ghostbusters franchise. Shortly thereafter, actor Dan Aykroyd confirmed that "a" Ghostbusters game was planned, but nothing has been heard of since. The latest GameInformer issue has Ghostbusters on the front cover, and while not giving any specifics, confirms that a title is indeed in the works for PS2/Wii/PS3/X360 and PC, with Aykroyd and Ramis writing the script and lending their voices and likenesses.

Oniblade is a 3rd person anime style action/adventure. Your female heroine wields two magical blades, which either can be used as swords or guns, and also has magical abilities, all of which are upgradeable. Spread over 20 locations with dozens of unique enemies, the game features two different endings.

Exteel is an MMO featuring stylized action in a universe filled with robots on a far off world where the exiled survivors of a lost war struggle against each other for control of the planet's resources.
