THQ confirmed that the next title in the Saints Row franchise is currently in development at internal studio Volition, Inc. and is scheduled to ship for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2008. The previously announced Saints Row PS3 port has been canceled in favor of a simultaneous release on both platforms of the sequel.
