On December 22nd a group of creditors obtained a Winding-Up order from the High Court in the United Kingdom against the publisher Digital Jesters. Following up on this order the creditors now intend to pursue further legal action against the directors of Digital Jesters, Mr. Terry Malham and Mr. Leonardo Zullo. In addition the creditors intend to demonstrate the Shadow Directorship of Mr. Rakesh Gandhi and administrators will shortly be appointed to investigate the transactions of Digital Jesters, their investors and associated ventures such as 'Myriad Interactive' of Mr. Marco Landi, with the aim of recovering outstanding debts.

Super X Studios announced that it is terminating their publishing agreement with Digital Jesters for their upcoming title Wild Earth. Super X Studios owner James Thrush stated, "It has come to our awareness that the company we signed with, Digital Jesters Limited, will not be able to fulfill its publishing role as its staff and assets are being subsumed by the new DJ Group publishing company. We wish them well on their new venture but as of this moment we are looking to place Wild Earth, which is now completed, with another publisher."

Kylotonn announces that it has terminated the distributing and publishing agreement Digital Jesters due to non-payment and breaches of contract perpetrated by the Digital Jesters management. Kylotonn owns Bet on Soldier and will shortly arrange a new agreement with another publisher for this title in the UK and in the US.

KaosKontrol announces that Digital Jesters has been in breach of contract and has therefor terminated the publishing agreement with Digital Jesters with immediate effect. KaosKontrol has additionally moved to petition a compulsory Winding-Up of the company 'Digital Jesters Distribution' with the district court of Birmingham in the United Kingdom and informs that its attorneys may initiate legal steps against the directors of Digital Jesters for fraud under section 206 of the Insolvency Act 1986. The development and ownership of game products are entirely unaffected and KaosKontrol will rapidly move to place them with another publisher.

In reaction to German publisher Frogster seizing its Bet on Soldier support, UK publisher
Digital Jesters announces that both DJ and BoS developer Kylotonn will continue support for Bet on Soldier: Blood Sport with patches, compatibilty issues and anything else that crops up in the future. Claiming Frogster did their statement in error, a retraction or clarification is said to be announced soon.

According to
the October 4th issue of the London Gazette, Independent Magazines has filed a court petition calling for the compulsory liquidation of game publisher Digital Jesters because of unpaid debts. Digital Jesters is publisher of 'Bet On Soldier' and the upcoming title 'Crazy Frog Racer.' Court date is set for November 2nd in the high court of London, which means the fate of Digital Jesters can be decided within two weeks (thanks Mark).
