Dance Dance Revolution powerhouse Konami and In The Groove developer Roxor Games today announced the mutual settlement of the litigation between the parties in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Texas. Under the terms of the settlement, Konami acquired the intellectual property rights to the In The Groove franchise. It was further agreed as a part of the settlement that Roxor would respect Konami’s intellectual property rights.

RedOctane announced today it has signed an agreement with developer Roxor Games, Inc. to release In the Groove, the high-energy dance game designed from the ground up by hardcore dance gamers. Based on the hit arcade game, In the Groove will be the first-ever published video game for RedOctane and will be available exclusively on the PS2.
