Terror returns once again with Project Zero 3, the third installment in Tecmo's popular survival horror title, Project Zero. While no release dates have been announced yet for Europe or North America, it will debut in Japan this summer. In PZ3 (or Fatal Frame 3) you play as Rei Kurosawa, but you will also encounter Miku Hinasaki and Kei Amakura from the previous two titles, and they will also be playable somewhere down the line. Xbox today announced European release dates for two Xbox exclusive titles from Tecmo. The first to hit European shelves is Project Zero 2, available from 4th February. The second title is the latest offering from Team Ninja's popular Japanese fighting series, Dead or Alive Ultimate, which will be available from 18th February.

Ubisoft today announces the signing of an exclusive publishing and distribution agreement with Japanese video game producer Tecmo. This deal plans to release the game Project Zero 2 - Crimson Butterfly, on Playstation 2 during the second quarter 2004 in Europe and Australia. Tecmo, famous for Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden, made quite an entrance in the Survival/Horror genre in 2002 with Project Zero, which had an unforgettable oppressive atmosphere. The second opus is actually a prequel with a whole new story and new characters, featuring improved graphics and refined gameplay.

Xbox today announced that it has reached an agreement with Tecmo to distribute the upcoming Xbox game 'Project Zero' in Europe. Project Zero, the survival horror hit from Tecmo, will be distributed by Microsoft Game Studios in the second quarter of 2003 and has been enhanced for its Xbox debut. The psycho thriller hit that has captivated players around the world boasts a variety of new terrifying features in the updated Xbox version. These include enhanced graphics, terrifyingly real new ghosts, unlockable new costumes for Miku, and an alternative ending that promises to reveal new answers to some of the mysteries surrounding the Himuro mansion.
