While official word was scheduled for tomorrow, script writer Rob Yescombe
spilled the beans early as he confirmed that the Crysis developer has acquired Free Radical. It was never really a secret, but
Free Radical's website has made it official. "Featuring even more crazy characters, devastating weapons and heart pounding hot sweaty action. It's funny, it's frantic and it'll do things you've never seen before! No, not naked girls, even better than that! No details yet, the monkeys have a loaded banana pressed against our skull, but this game will take the first person shooter to gaming nirvana. Save the world or die laughing, Timesplitters 4 is coming to getcha!"

The OPM UK August issue is said to have a small article confirming that Free Radical is working on a
new Timesplitters title. With its current project, Haze, due to wrap up in the next few months, Free Radical is said to be "gearing up to insert monkeys and guns into all the wrong places," spoofing Gear of War, Halo and others. OPM is a PlayStation syndicated magazine, so it is not sure if TimeSplitters 4 will be on any platforms other than the PS3.
