Capcom has released a playable demo ketting you sample their upcoming third-person action RPG Chas Legion. Capcom today released Chaos Legion, a new brand of action gaming for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system. Chaos Legion submits an entirely new way to play an action game, offering complete control over both the hero and the mighty legions he can summon. Players have the ability to acquire a substantial variety of new defensive and offensive moves as they are propelled through this epic saga. Chaos Legion is rated “T” for teen audiences by the ESRB and is now available at retailers across North America.

Capcom today announced it is developing a PC version of its PlayStation 2 title Chaos Legion. Due for a simultaneous global release this autum, Chaos Legion for PC will not only support Windows 98/ME/2000/XP but also eight languages covering all key territories. Read more for details!

Chaos Legion has been billed in Japan as an ‘intense gothic opera’ which (minus the singing) details the story of master swordsman Sieg Wahrheit and his oldest ally Victor Delacroix. We learn that while Wahrheit is missing for many years on a dangerous mission, Delacroix is tempted and consumed by the forces of Evil. It is Wahrheit’s mission to pursue and prevent Delacroix from bringing chaos to the world. Wahrheit must battle through many gloriously realised 3D environments (featuring stunning architectural exteriors and highly detailed cavernous interiors) against Delacroix and his fearful hoards.

Capcom has announced a new title for PS2, Chaos Legion. The game is based on the serial of the same name which runs in the popular Japanese fantasy anthology Dragon Magazine. Though it has the look of a 3D action title, producer Yoshinori Ono describes it as a "fantasy opera," with some RPG elements, different in style from the Resident Evil, Onimusha, or Devil May Cry series.
