Raven Software Said To Be Working On 'James Bond' Title Again

According to James Bond fan site MI6, Raven Software, known for the recent Singularity and Wolfenstein, has been tagged again by publisher Activision to work on a new installement in the James Bond franchise. Unlike Bizarre Creations' recent Blood Stone, the new title could be based on the 23rd Bond movie, which is schedule for release in theaters in 2011. Earlier development on the James Bond title was put on hold while the MGM bankruptcy was being sorted out.

That Activision studios Bizarre Creations is working on a new James Bond driving game is not exactly a secret, as it has been mentioned by execs on various occasions and conference calls. According to UK megastore HMV the name of the new, vehicle-focused, title is James Bond: Bloodstone. Activision declined to comment, and while the product has been removed in the meantime, it still shows up in the search results when you enter James Bond.

Apart from Massive's announcement with Blizzard from earlier today, the Activision Blizzard/Massive ad-focused press event also confirmed a slew of titles that have popped up in various financial statements. Further showing off in-game ads, future titles such as Guitar Hero 5 will feature integrated commercials, while also unveiling Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a James Bond-themed racing game (by PGR devs Bizarre Creations) and stating that the new Tony Hawk will not be played with a regular controller.
