Vivendi Universal Games and Interplay announced today Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader has shipped to retail. This original PC role-playing game from award-winning Black Isle Studios, developed by Reflexive Entertainment, provides a unique game-play experience combining the traditional elements of the genre with strong sense of action and adventure. Moving out of the typical high-fantasy world, Lionheart takes place on alternate-reality Earth in which history has diverged from the world resulting in a twist to the conventional RPG experience.

Interplay/Vivendi have released the promised demo for their upcoming RPG game 'Lionheart'. Vivendi and Interplay announced today Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader has gone gold. This original PC role-playing game from award-winning Black Isle Studios, and developed by Reflexive Entertainment, combines an intriguing story of alternate medieval history and fast paced real-time combat. It also features the SPECIAL system for character advancement previously found in the Fallout series of PC games. Hordes of monsters, hundreds of weapons and items and over 60 spells are found in the game to challenge your combat and spell-casting abilities.
