CDV, in partnership with developers GSC Gameworld and Revolution of Strategy, today announced that they will be publishing American Conquest: Divided Nation, a real-time strategy game based upon events in early American history. In the game, players will take on the role of Civil War general, Texas militia leader or pirate captain.

CDV Software Entertainment, one of the leading German publishers and distributors of gaming software, announces that "American Conquest: Fight Back" for the PC is available in retail stores. The name of the official add-on to CDV's real time strategy hit American Conquest has been confirmed - American Conquest: Fight Back! The add-on will be released in Germany on May 30, 2003. The international release dates have yet to be announced. You'll be able to play American Conquest: Fight Back! without the original game. The new game will feature a complete new battle mode as well as five new nations. There are also 10 single player and multiplayer maps for the new battle mode, 50 new units and 25 new missions in eight campaigns. It's clearly a must-have for all American Conquest fans!
