Strategy First has released an update patch for their recently released Disciples II expansion packs. This patch will fix the problem some people are having completing the second map of the high-level Clans campaign, corrects a few text errors and adds an explanation for the new high-level icons that appear on unit portraits in the Manual Addendum (PDF). Error messages have been added to ensure multiplayer compatibility problems are now clearly explained. For the North American version of D2: Guardians of the Light and D2: Servants of the Dark only. Strategy First announced today that the first expansion pack for Disciples II: Dark Prophecy, Disciples II: Guardians of the Light, has shipped to retail stores nationwide. “We are very happy to be giving Disciples fans even more to get excited about,” said Don McFatridge, President Strategy First Inc. “Guardians of the Light will have die hard fans coming back for more and will give newcomers to the franchise a chance to experience the Disciples world we love so much.”

SCi today announces that it has acquired the interactive rights from Artisan Entertainment, Inc. to Reservoir Dogs. Originally released in 1992, 'Reservoir Dogs' received critical acclaim when it screened at the Sundance Film Festival in January 1991. The director was Quentin Tarantino who has since developed a cult movie following around the world.

Octagon is seeking publishing partners in Asia for Battle Cards: MetalTech from Swedish developer
Disciples of the Machine. MetalTech is a massively multiplayer online game that is a rare find in the MMOG genre as it features addictive gameplay involving trading cards. Players must strategically choose which cards to unleash from their own decks to conquer challengers' front lines of defense. Cards are divided into seven categories and function in terms of combat tactics, energy and special effects. The game is designed so that players can download the game client and practice free of charge. Advanced decks are available for purchase and new card packs are introduced each month. MetalTech also offers a spectator option in which players can scope out the competition in the heat of battle. MetalTech is scheduled to be completed Q2 2003.

Apperently the demo of Disciples II we announced yesterday wasn't so quie ready as everybody thought. The updated demo fixes the save game bug and adds a unit that was missing from the original.
