While there has not yet been any official announcement, it seems Atari is working on a sequel to last year's first-ever DBZ game on the PSP, and adding a NDS edition to the mix. Currently scheduled for March 2007, Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road will furhter give players the ability to experience intense WiFi multiplayer battles with the most thrilling aspects of DBZ combat, including counter-attacks, super high-speed bouts, flight and Ki (energy) management.

German fansite bf2142-union revealed some information indicating EA might be working on new Battlefield 2142 content for either a patch, addon or boosterpack. In-game ads started popping making mention of new vehicles "coming soon" for both sides, EU and PAC. An ad featuring a huge EU APC clearly states "The Goliath Heavy IFV is finally combat ready," while indications are that PAC might receive a 2-person armored vehicle, TYPE 36 Hachimoto. Earlier, various sources noticed EA testing new maps and a possible new mode, so this might all be a ramp up for some new boosterpack content...

Originally founded in the early 80's Rare went through a few name changes, started off as a C-64/Spectrum, NES developer, scored a hit with GoldenEye on the N64, and went from being a Nintendo studio to being one of Microsoft's flagship developers. Now after more than 2 decades, two of its 3 founders,
the Stamper brothers, decided to call it quits and pursue other opportunities. The parting is amicable and has nothing to do with disappointing sales of recent titles, according to Microsoft, which promoted Mark Betteridge and Gregg Mayles from withing to replace Tim & Chris.

A Ubisoft Europe release schedule reveals that it is making good on its promise to support the Wii, as four new titles are included for Q1 2007. Brothers In Arms: D-Day, Cosmic Family, Driver: Paralel Lines, Spelling Spree ae all confirmed in development as well as PoP: Rival Swords, Blazing angels, and TMNT. Just what the Xbox 360 needs, more Japanese RPG titles to boost its popularity in Asia. Absolute Blazing Infinity is a Tactical-RPG from Idea Factory, previously known for Neverlands. Based on the PS2 title Blazing Souls, Absolute Blazing Infinity is currently scheduled release in Japan on March 29, 2007, no specific release date for Europe or North America are available yet.

According the online sources Vivendi is working on bringing Battlestar Galactica, based on the TV show, to the online masses. Currently scheduled for October 2007, Battlestar Galactica Online is only listed as being in development for Xbox 360, but lets hope there will be a PC edition as well. Hopefully the new title will be better than
Vivendi's last, failed, attempt at making a Battlestar Galactica game. More details surely to come after the holidays ...
