Freshly revealed at Nintendo's Fall 2007 conference, Super Mario Stadium Baseball is the next-gen baseball version of the franchise that had great success on the Gamecube, making use of the Wiimote and Nunchuck controls. It's currently scheduled for release in Japan sometime in 2008.

Expected to make an appearance on the PS3, Capcom surprised everybody at the Nintendo Fall Conference in Japan by announcing Monster Hunter 3 for the Wii instead. No further details were revealed, but MH Tri-, pronounced as "try," is part of Nintendo's multiplatform strategy, so maybe there will be a PS3 version somewhere down the line.

The BBFC rejected and ultimately banned Manhunt 2 in June, but it has now also turned down a revised version of the video game. 2K Games had set in motion an appeal to the Video Appeals Committee against that decision, and this was suspended while the revised version was considered for classification.
