Matrix Games is pleased to announce that it has secured the rights to publish Koios Works' innovative new wargame, Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great. Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great is a turn-based, simultaneous-play wargame with a classic feel and a reaction system to allow mid-turn adjustments to strategy. Aside from covering the most famous conqueror in all of history, Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great also presents the wargamer with a unique miniatures-oriented feel with graphics of hand-drawn, individually adorned soldiers.

Matrix Games and Adanac Command Studies are pleased to announce that a publishing agreement has been reached for the entire line of Adanac games, including Campaigns of La Grande Armee Series and the upcoming World War I, Imperial Ambition and The Road from Sumter to Appomattox IV. Adanac Command Studies is a one man shop, showcasing the dedication and attention to detail of renowned designer Frank Hunter, known for his past work on The Road from Sumter to Appomattox and American Civil War. The Campaigns of La Grande Armee series has received excellent reviews and a great deal of excitement has been building about new titles in development.

Matrix Games and TriSynergy have signed a development agreement with Playnet and Cornered Rat Software. Playnet and Cornered Rat Software are the online operators and developers of the award-winning MMOG, "World War II Online".

Atari Inc. Friday said it had sold more than 1 million copies of "Enter the Matrix" one week after the computer and video game hit shelves in the United States and Europe. The game was released May 15, the same day as the movie it is tied to, "The Matrix Reloaded." The game includes additional footage and is one of the most expensive ever made.

Matrix Games and Panther Games are pleased to announce a new partnership aimed at producing outstanding new wargames based on the critically acclaimed Airborne Assault engine. In development currently is Airborne Assault: Highway to the Reich covering all three battles from operation Market Garden. Infogrames, Inc. a leading publisher of interactive entertainment software, today announced that it has signed a Purchase Agreement to acquire Shiny Entertainment, Inc. from Interplay Entertainment Corp. Through this acquisition, Infogrames will have exclusive worldwide rights to develop and publish interactive games based on sequels to the highly acclaimed, Academy Award-winning action thriller, “THE MATRIX.” The games will be based on the upcoming sequels, “THE MATRIX RELOADED” and “THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS” from Warner Bros. Pictures. The transaction is expected to close within one week, following satisfaction of various closing conditions, which include the execution of other ancillary agreements with various third parties.
