It was a little bit of a quiet day yesterday, with Europe mainly still in Easter holiday mode, but that should be changing again today, as of right ... now!
We've been making good headway on catching up on DVR stuff, as we watched Flashforward, 24 and Human Target. Yesterday we also checked out the latest ep. of The Pacific, and while it is not bad by a long shot, it is not nearly as good as Band of Brothers. It seems to be lacking the intensity as well as the character depth as BoB. So far, there seems to be no chemistry between any of the characters like
Maj. Richard D. Winters and
Capt. Lewis Nixon, for starters. We're not even halfway through the series, so hopefully the pacing picks up.

That Infinity Ward story sure is weird, isn't it? I'm curious what sort of breach of contract and insubordination led to the firing of executives who just delivered the best-selling game ever, right before they were supposedly to be paid their royalties. I'm sure we haven't heard the last of that story.
This is turning out to quite an excellent week for gamers. Bad Company 2, Supreme Commander 2, a few MLB titles, and even the Alice in Wonderland game look exciting. I'm mostly interested in the first two, and while I already have SC2, I have yet to check it out. Better get to it before the next batch of titles ships ....
