Dragon Ball: Origins 2 continues the story of series hero Goku’s early years as he and his friends search the world for the seven enchanted Dragon Balls. The new action-adventure game includes an array of features including the ability to play as different characters along the way and the option to team up with a friend for co-op multiplayer challenges.

Crytek is releasing v3.1 of its CryENGINE 3 SDK that includes many new features and tools. CryENGINE 3.1 enhances the Sandbox toolset with a new Shader Editor, improved profiling tools, upgrades to animation tools and the introduction of new features such as Procedural Deformation, Irradiance Volumes and physics-driven animations.

Sakura Wars is a Strategy RPG that features a unique sim-based story system. An in-depth storyline exists, much like in any other RPG; however, the player’s destiny in the game is not predetermined. Due to high demand, Sakura Wars will be available in a premium package which will include the Japanese voice track and a special art cover.

Such a beautiful day it was yesterday, amazing. We watched some TV after breakfast, did some errands, checked out a new promising property but decided not to pursue any further due to the crime-ridden neighborhood, and then did some catch-up work. It was less than we had hoped for, but it was such a nice day that it couldn't be helped.

No movies at all, but we did get to watch The Amazing Race and might snag Date Night sometime this week at the small theater just down the street.

Okamiden is a picturesque action adventure game for the Nintendo DS. Taking place a few months after the events of Okami, Okamiden follows the adventures of Chibiterasu, a young sun god who is summoned to protect the land.

Set during a tumultuous period of Japanese history, Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes follows players as they fight their way to the dramatic battle of Sekigahara. Players will take up the swords and spears of more than a dozen fierce samurai warriors in huge battles against hundreds of opponents in many exciting stages that lead up to the main event.

Samurai Shodown Sen is the 11th game in SNK's classic Japanese weapons-based fighting series and the fourth in the 3D series. The game takes place in Japan during the twilight of the turbulent Edo period, and promises to be the most brutal and visceral chapter in the Samurai Shodown series' history.

Nintendo has plenty in store to keep your Wii Remote and touch screen busy in the coming months. Whatever sort of games you like to play there is something for everyone. Unfortunately Sin & Punishment: Star Successor and Metroid: Other M are getting delayed until June and Aug. respectively.

No rest for the wicked. With the flaky coverage from earlier this week, we'll be doing a little bit of catching up over the weekend.

No special plans for the weekend. Maybe we'll go catch a movie if there's anything interesting playing, but if not, there's always the DVR. We kicked off the weekend in style with some awesome Greek food, which we devoured in front of the TV while watching Stargate Universe and Supernatural.
