More than 70,000 industry professionals from 79 countries gathered at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the E3. According to the Entertainment Software Association approximately 400 exhibitors occupied 547,000 net square feet of exhibit space and displayed more than 5,000 computer and video game products -- 1,000 of which made their debut. Exhibitors reported 80 percent of the 5,000 products will be found on store shelves by the 2005 holiday season.

Agetec today announced its plans to introduce five new titles at the E³ in booth W2660 at the Los Angeles Convention Center next week. Geared for the PS2, the company will unveil RPG Maker 3, WILD ARMS Alter code: F and Armored Core: Nine Breaker. New games for the PSP will be Armored Core: Formula Front and PoPoLoCrois.

Well, we have arrived in Los Angeles, and in between the pre-E3 events and media briefings (the Microsoft party rocked!), we went down to the actual E3 convention center and snuck inside ninja-style to bring you a few sneak peek photos. The Nintendo video screens seemed to have a Mario soccer game on it and the Huxley trailer was amazing, but unfortunately, our disguise was compromised and we were escorted out ... twice. Tonight, Microsoft had its pre-E3 media briefing at the Shrine Auditorium. One of the major announcemens was the commitment of Square Enix to bring its Final Fantasy series to the X360, starting with FF XI. X360 will be backwards-compatible with top-selling Xbox games, and currently more than 160 games are in development for X360, with 25 to 40 games slated for release this calendar year. Various new titles were confirmed such as Mistwalker's Blue Dragon, Quake 4, Call of Duty 2, Capcom's Dead Rising, Epic's Gears of War and also reiterated are the X360 specs. Read more for details ...
