While Courtney Love is taking legal steps for unauthorized Kurt Cobain usage in GH5, Activision claimed it has the necessary licensing rights, but now former Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic also stated that they think Activision went overboard and should patch the game so that Cobain can only be used as a character for the two Nirvana tracks.
