The CES in full swing! I'll be checking out the new mobile phones — the Google phone in particular, since our current contract is about to expire and we're in the market for new cell phones.

We finished watching Up, and if you haven't seen it yet, it's great. It's a bit of an emotional roller coaster but damn good. On the flip side, we also watched Echelon Conspiracy, and for a movie with big names like Edward Burns, Ving Rhames and Jonathan Pryce, it sure was majorly disappointing.

Tonight, we may try to see Avatar again. I hope the third time's the charm, as the shows were sold out hours in advance for our two previous attempts.

Super Street Fighter IV features the full roster of 25 characters from Street Fighter IV such as Ryu, Ken, Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte and Rufus, while adding about eight characters new to the world of Street Fighter IV, such as classic combatants from previous SF games like T. Set in the deceptively idyllic town of Bright Falls, Alan Wake immerses players in an intense and expansive cinematic world that enables players to explore the hyper-realistic and interactive environments. During his CES keynote speech Microsoft's Robbie Bach revealed that the game is story-driven like a TV series (he compared it to Lost as written by Stephen King and filmed by David Lynch) and will be told in episodes, with even more episodes available on Xbox Live post launch.

Mass Effect is a sci-fi adventure set in a vast universe filled with dangerous alien life forms and mysterious uncharted planets. In ME2, Saren's evil army of Geth soldiers has just been defeated, and humans, who are still struggling to make their mark on the galactic stage, are now faced with an even greater peril.

Darksiders is an action/adventure game that gives players the ability to experience the supernatural destructive power of WAR, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, as he explores a demon ravaged world -- seeking revenge and ultimate redemption with a vast array of modern and mythical weaponry. Vigil Games revealed that a patch for the X360 screen tearing will be released soon, while other news has the game banned in United Arab Emirates because it "contradicts with UAE’s customs and traditions," and last but not least word on the street is that a movie adaptation might be coming.
