Codemasters released a stunning new Colin McRae Rally 3 movie today, showcasing the game’s grueling rally gameplay and dynamic visuals. Created especially for the London Effects & Animation Festival, the video is available online from Downloads section of the game's web site (movie file titled “Colin McRae Rally 3: The Game”; filename “cmr3_game”). With a running time of approximately two minutes, the video streams through the game’s opening scenes to the gritty rallying action and ends with a championship win.

The engine's revving as Colin McRae Rally 3 prepares for its stage start on October 25 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox. With the latest screenshots released today, the world's favourite rally game series will soon be giving players the professional rally driver experience in what's tipped the season's most-wanted motorsport title. Players take on the role of McRae himself at the beginning of a three-year contract to win a series of championships for the Ford Rallye Sport team.. As Colin McRae, players drive through a grueling series of international rally locations and experience the feel of tarmac, gravel, dirt and rain-soaked road surfaces.
