C.O.R.E. is a classic FPS game set in an underground laboratory complex in the year 2050, featuring an advanced graphics solution, multiplayer support, and makes maximum use of the NDS' dual screen and touch-screen control system.

Noire since Sept. 2008 when it was said to be still a year out, but Team Bondi's Senior Lightning Artist Carl Ross' CV the game is also coming to PC (thanks Super).

Cricket Revolution focuses on high adrenaline multiplayer gameplay based around the sport of cricket. With a new and innovative cricket gaming engine at its core, the game brings a new level of depth and engagement to cricket video games.

Set in a modern day survival-horror universe, the co-op gameplay of L4D casts four Survivors in an epic struggle against hordes of swarming zombies and terrifying Boss Infected mutants. Valve confirmed that the Crash Course DLC is scheduled fro release on Thursday, Sept. 10.

Ubisoft announced its line-up of titles it will be showing off at Tokyo Game Show 2009 (Sept. 24 - 27), such as Assassin’s Creed II, Avatar: The Game, Rabbids Go Home, Red Steel 2, and Splinter Cell: Conviction.

So the visit to the Asian Art Museum to see the Samurai exhibit was actually quite cool: lots of armor, swords and lore to read up on. Unfortunately, my wife and the other people we were with wanted to take the opportunity to visit the rest of the museum while we were there .... Couldn't care less who ate what out of which white pot or whatever that weird bento box means. *yawn*

Then back to the homested for — you guessed it — some CrimeCraft and watching Green Lantern: First Flight, a cool new cartoon released ealier this year.

Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyou, loosely translated as Okami Legend: The Small Sun,  follows the same art style as the PS2 and Wii titles, and while it plays off in similar environments it is an all-new adventure set several months after the conclusion of the original where you follow a new, younger character. Obviously, gameplay is similar to the previous Okami titles with the DS stylus being used to draw your magical symbols.

Microsoft revealed the winners of its 2009 Dream.Build.Play Challenge, which encourages independent and hobbyist game developers to create fun and innovative video games for Xbox 360 using XNA Game Studio, each taking home their share of the $75,000 price money.

Here in North America, we are celebrating Labor Day weekend, so we have an extra day off on Monday. Woohoo! The in-laws are visiting (no comment), and tomorrow we are going to the museum to check on some Samurai exhibit. Could be interesting.

I finally managed to save enough loot to acquire our gang's hideout, which we can further pimp out with a bank, vendor, mailbox or spiffy up with a new interior. Ugh, must save more loot ...

The Fortune Hunter Edition will NOT be available at retial, but only as a contest prize through special promos in HOME, through the multiplayer demo (Sept. 15th) and others.

Colin McRae: DiRT 2 benefits from tuned-up car-handling physics system, a new damage engine effects, a new level of visual fidelity, with cars and tracks twice as detailed as those seen in the original, as well as a roster of off-road events, taking players to the most diverse and challenging real-world environments.

Lips is a music and singing game that includes 30 songs, 2 wireless interactive microphones (with motion sensors that allow you to dance, move or swing to score points), the ability to use and sing your own music or download songs from an online service.

The Devil Kings series are fast-paced action titles that possess compelling gameplay thrusting players into a land of warring nations and unrelenting hostile armies. While we are still waiting for Devil Kings 2 in North America, Capcom has already revealed DK 3 in Japan, where it is known as Sengoku Basara 3, for 2010.

Ron Gilbert's RPG-Adventure game follows the thong-tastic adventures of a misguided hero named DeathSpank, a character that first appeared on Gilbert's Grumpy Gamer website in a series of animated comics he penned with long-time creative collaborator, Clayton Kauzlaric.
