a recent interview EndWar lead AI programmer Vinh-Dieu Lam revealed that Ubisoft is thinking about merging all of its Tom Clancy titles (
now that it has acquired the full license) into one overarching super game, where missions generated in a Ghost Recon game affect the world map in EndWar for instance, or a mission in EndWar will need you to attack Paris but before you can it may generate a Splinter Cell or Ghost Recon mission. While there is no time frame for the project, or whether it will even come this console generation, Lam indicated it's the direction Ubisoft wants to go in.

The NPD Group has released sales numbers for the month of September and to no surprise the Wii is still on top of everybody's game, followed by the DS. Sales for the Xbox 360 continue to surge after its recent price drop, putting it in a solid 3rd position well ahead of the PS3. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed became the #1 selling title with over 600k units while Wii Fit sold over 500k copies. The games industry sales dropped 7% ($1.27 billion) compared to Sept. 2007's numbers, which did include Halo 3.
