Blizzard has released yet another update for its MMORPG World of Warcraft. This v2.4.0 patch adds the new The Sunwell Isle are with a new quest hub and 5-player and 25-player instances, as well as the usual slew of bug/crash fixes and gameplay tweaks.

Activision and Infinity Ward are planning a new offensive with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition and the downloadable Variety Map Pack (800 MS Points), a series of new multiplayer maps, both scheduled for release on April 3. Infinity Ward revealed that PS3 owners will also get the map pack somewhere late May, and while there are no details about bringing it to PC available yet, logistics are being worked out on how to make that happen.

Last Flight is a new Wiiware title where you play Larry Adelman, a culinary critic who has to fight blood-sucking vampire/zombies (no, not snakes) on a plane. The beat-'em-up title sports cel-shaded graphics. You must cleave your way through hordes of enemies and use the environment to create stakes (max. 4), or slap them around with a whip.

Fallout 3 places a player in the role of a Vault-dweller, who ventures from his secluded, underground survival Vault into a post-apocalyptic world of mutants, radiation, gangs and violence. In a recent podcast with OXM, Fallout 3 executive producer Todd Howard revealed that the original 12 endings grew to over 200, and the game time exploded from 20-40 hours to over 100.

Namco Bandai is working on a Wii exclusive action/flight sim game, based on the upcoming animated movie by Mamoru Oshii, known for such productions as Ghost in the Shell, Blood: The Last Vampire and Innocence : Ghost in the Shell 2. The Sky Crawlers is set in an alternate reality and chronicles the adventures of an elite squadron of fighter pilots.

SEGA's Sonic the hedgehog races towards new territory in this Bioware-created RPG, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. Apart from the fact that it will appear on the NDS system during 2008, little details are available at this point.

Featuring a totally unique trading card mode, robust Minor League system, all-new Signature Style animations for 2008, brand new pitching, fielding/base-running controls, completely overhauled batting interface. and more, MLB 2K8 brings a new level of fun to the virtual baseball world. 2K Sports is working on patches for the X360/PS3 versions to fix the framerate, an issue in Franchise mode when playing as the San Diego Padres and attempting to move players to and from their minor league roster.

Obscure: The Aftermath follows the story of a group of friends attending college who discover that a mysterious black flower, with addictive hallucinogenic effects, also has the terrifying ability to transform people into hideous monsters. Ignition and apparel company Draven are giving away a Wii console, along with a copy of the game and a complete Draven outfit.

In Lost Cities, players draw from a pool of cards with the goal of amassing the most points and making prosperous expeditions through the various lost cities: the Himalayas, the Brazilian rain forest, the ever-shifting desert sands, ancient volcanoes and the mystifying depth's of the Oceans.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 adds new gameplay features and stunning visuals, players will encounter a solo campaign that uses new tactical possibilities in various locations around Sin City, co-op and adversarial modes. Ever since the game's launch PS3 owners have been unable to enjoy multiplayer, and Ubisoft so far only said it is looking into the matter. One forum user revealed that "his uncle's lawfirm" has been hired to sue Ubisoft for releasing a product not as advertised.

Harmonix, MTV Games, and EA announced plans to release their music video game Rock Band on the Wii which will feature 63 songs including five bonus songs and be released as a Special Edition bundle including the game, drums, microphone and a wireless guitar. Stand alone instruments will also be available for people who want to build their band one instrument at a time or want to play the drum versus drum game mode.

TiQal is a new puzzle game where players demolish enemy block walls by matching squares of the same color and building them up to unleash combo points and power-ups. TiQal will launch on Xbox Live Arcade this Wed., March 26, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. GMT (1:00 a.m. PDT) together with an updated version of Switchball that delivers enhanced graphics for a smoother gameplay experience and enhanced leaderboards!

Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties is AoE 3's the second expansion pack, engaging gamers of all ages and types n epic warfare in the Eastern world, and leading Japanese, Chinese and Indian civilizations to expand their empires. Ensemble Studios' Bruce Shelley revealed that the long in development v1.01 patch, mainly addressing balance issues, is being localized and awaiting release approval from Microsoft.
